New Rose Plantings Progress

In September we shared on the blog the beginning of the planting of new varieties that are scheduled to be commercial and available in 2025.

And they are progressing really well. We have started the bending system on some of the larger plants.

Bending new rose plants is a crucial technique for establishing a strong foundation for future growth and abundant blooms. By gently bending the main shoots, we encourage the development of multiple branching points, leading to a bushier plant with more potential flower stems. This practice also helps to redirect energy towards the new growth, resulting in healthier, stronger plants that are better equipped to withstand pests, diseases, and adverse weather conditions. Ultimately, bending promotes earlier and more prolific flowering, ensuring a bountiful harvest of exquisite cut roses.

Here are some updates on the plantings:

Variety of the Week

Endless Summer™

This captivating Classic rose variety showcases large, full blooms in a stunning blend of warm orange hues. The ruffled petals create a romantic and vintage-inspired look, making it a popular choice for bouquets and floral arrangements.
